Religion is the Opium of the peoples. Something you like and that gives you some sort of pleasure while also addictions and limits to your freedom. Computer based music was my opium for a long time and it did not felt good after a while.. What is we can make something addictive and harmful something good, by creating a controlled environment where the limit are self imposed and freedom almost to the max. Modular synthesiser. “Opium” wants to be an attempt with of this new-old way of making music with total freedom with relatively strict limits.
